AUDITION

For the season 2009/2010 DUDAPAIVA COMPANY is inviting professional dancers to attend a two days audition workshop on May 2 and 3 between 11 and 15 hrs in KORZO5HOOG

WORKSHOP

No strings attached This workshop works on the creation of choreographic motifs between performer and the object/puppet. By using the body of the dancer as landscape for the puppet/object, this space is explored to inspire intuition and creativity.

Partnering the object is about awareness of the physicality of an inanimate object, about awareness of the physicality of the performer, focus, precision and coordination.

COACHING

In February Duda Paiva has coached the theatre maker Niels Brandaan Cotterink. The result of this process Naderbij will be presented on the 3th of May in KORZO5HOOG as part of a weekend with a focus on the cross over of modern dance and puppetry. Naderbij will be representented together with Birds,the result of a workshop of Duda Paiva with students of the School for New Dance Development and performed by Javier Murugarren and Andre Mello.
